Fabulous Finds: The Best Products on Amazon I’ve Purchased

Shopping small is a huge part of my life, but there are some items that I either can’t find locally or I simply don’t know who sells them around me. Therefore, I turn to Amazon. Since I have Prime, much of what I order gets free shipping, which gives me a bit of license to order things at my leisure. With their program called “Subscribe and Save” I also have some of my more frequently used products on auto ship. That makes my life so much easier because I don’t have to sweat over whether I’ll have enough toilet paper to get me through another pandemic, or be at risk drinking unfiltered refrigerator water. Amazon is truly an amazing business, if it’s not overused and replacing shopping at small businesses. That’s my opinion, and since it’s my blog, I get to express my opinion. I'll share the best products on Amazon I’ve purchased that may be hard to find locally. I think you’re going to like them.

Since I go on international trips several times per year, I decided it might be a smart idea to try some jet lag relief. It comes with a load of reviews, and I tried it for the first time on my trip to Paris. Overall it helped a lot, and I coupled it with some melatonin just before taking off so I could sleep the whole flight. Parfait! Jet lag is the pits, and feels like such a waste of time. The jet lag relief was worth the purchase, an why, for me, it's one of the best products on Amazon I've purchased.

Sleeping is top of my list of favorite things to do in a quality way. I’ve made a lot of adjustments to my sleeping habit, one of which is getting an awesome pillow. The day I opened this pillow and used it, my neck pain stopped. It’s stayed away for months, and I couldn’t be happier to get in bed and lay my head down. Even better, I look forward to a great nights sleep. Highly recommend this pillow, but only if you want to sleep well.

You don’t have to be a professional videographer to use a microphone. The nice thing about this microphone is that it cuts down on the background noise when you’re doing a video for social media. If you can’t be super close to the phone, this is the way to go. Your voice comes in loud and clear, and your listeners don’t hear the echo. They aren’t expensive, but they work like a charm.

Cooking is one of my favorite things to do, so naturally I have a lot of dishes. Some of my are hand wash only, which requires sponges. It doesn’t bother me in the least, but I also want to make sure I’m not putting sponge after sponge in the garbage, particularly if they don’t biodegrade. These sponges are great quality, last for a while, and help with living more sustainably. Win all around. 

This is one I wish I had bought years earlier. My dog loves to leap off of my bed, which isn’t that low to the ground. Over the years, he developed back pain. I wondered if it was going up and down the stairs, but after thinking it through, I realized it was likely the impact when he landed after jumping. He is no Simone Biles. After getting these stairs, no more back pain. It’s been over a year, and he is golden. If you have a small dog, I would get this immediately. Sofas or beds, it’s perfect for their little backs.

Red lipstick is so sexy. It just is, and it's my signature color. The color red elevates any outfit or situation, especially when it’s on your smackers. The Sisley brand is one I’ve tried a couple of colors, and I am happy with both. It’s not thick and it doesn’t feel like it’s caked on there, which I like. Personally, I can never have too many red lipsticks, and this is one of my top choices.

I’m absolutely smitten by this little table lamp. I use it as almost a nightlight in my bathroom, and it isn’t blinding. The lamp has three different settings so it’s easy to toggle between the three. Being able to recharge it is perfect, especially if you don’t have an outlet where you are in need of a lamp. It’s perfect when the electricity goes out, too. I found that out one evening and was grateful to have this lamp so I wasn’t in pitch black.

These misters are perfect for hot climates. Since everywhere seems hot now, it might be appropriate to buy yourself a pack. I installed them on the outside of my screen porch so that I can still somewhat enjoy the hotter months outside. Another great use is for gardens, but I selfishly use them to cool myself down. It’s a fantastic way to be outside and not be tortured by the pesky heat.

This ice chest is absolutely amazing. Since I do a fair amount of entertaining, I like having an easy way for people to grab drinks on their own. It’s also nice to have an ice chest that you don’t have to bend at a 90 degree angle to get something out of. This is a great gift to yourself, or anyone who enjoys a convenient way to serve drinks at a party. I can’t recommend this enough.

Having an adapter like this makes traveling out of the country a breeze. With the various plugs and USB ports, you literally just need this one thing while traveling. I’ve used it multiple times during my trips to Europe, and will continue to since I go there once or twice per year. It’s also great to use at home since it has all the ports and plugs you need to charge things. This is high on my list of the best products on Amazon I've purchased.

A remarkable product, this stopper kept bubbly fizzy for a couple of weeks. When I opened up a bottle I had, it still popped when I removed this stopper. I’m not a big bubbly drinker, so this helps me not feel pressure to drink an entire bottle of Prosecco in one sitting. And yes, I like Prosecco better than champagne. Don’t come at me.

Sadly, I lost this one in the divorce, but while it was mine to use, I used it. It’s so nice to offer to guests so you don’t have to make an entire pot of coffee, or warm up your old coffee from that morning. I also loved that I could warm up water only and make hot tea. This is a solid, fantastic coffee maker that I would buy again. And maybe I will!

The absolute perfect thing to take on vacation. A caveat, it must be paired with the bluetooth clicker. I love the tripod because, as a solo traveler, I don’t like asking. Mediocre-at-best photographers to take my picture. I simply set up my tripod, walk to where I want the shot, and click the clicker. Voila! It takes the photo and I get exactly what I want. Do not pass this one up for your next vacation.

This little thing is more powerful than the more expensive one I bought long ago. It’s also small enough to take with you on trips, but I mostly use it at home when I need my clothes to be less wrinkled. It’s simple and not expensive, but highly worth it, especially if you hate ironing like I do. No need to deal with all that equipment, just use this steamer and you’re set.

Absolutely obsessed with these! Since I make a lot of meals, and do meal prep, I love these containers for many reasons. They stack well, seem to fit perfectly in my fridge, and they are clear. Very clear. So you can see exactly what is in there. The different sizes make it fun for nerds like me to organize all the things. If you love clarity and organization, this is a good investment for you.

Who doesn’t love the convenience of keeping the cool things cool and having space for the other stuff, like sunglasses, a blanket, or whatever else you need to tote around? This particular backpack is clutch for festivals, hikes, or the beach. I’m in love with this thing and take it with me when I want to take a cold beverage or even some cheese. It’s functional, and it’s sustainable. How can you pass this up?
