I love my friends. I forget sometimes to express t

I love my friends. I forget sometimes to express this in everyday life, but I'm really lucky in my life. It's not all luck, though. I've definitely made a lot of effort over the years to combine seasoned and new people into my life that make me a better person.

Last night, I had plans with my "more seasoned" friend, and when my other friend texted to say she was in town, she came along to this gorgeous fashion show in City Park. What a gift.

It's moments like this that give me all the feels, the love, the knowing that life is, in fact, good, despite me thinking it's not sometimes.

Get yourself some good friends, y'all. It can turn a shitty day into one of the most memorable you know you'll have for a while. And be open to spontaneity. My typical rigid self stayed out till 10 pm, but I have no regrets!

This cat has gotten to my heart. I want to get him a home. He probably doesn’t have that long left but I know he wants to snuggle with a human badly. Want to be his human?
